The product that is on sale is the use of the location Holroyd Gardens for the purpose of weddings and other events. This advertisement is specifically catered for the wedding audience as the ‘I do’ sentiment has been posted on the advertisement followed by pictures of the wedding couple. The advertisement carries a message of the product; it shows how the user’s day can be made memorable by the means of the space. However this message is not elaborated that clearly, it is only shown by means of truncated words, the message could have been written out in a lengthier and elaborate way. I would not buy the product based on the advertisement alone, I would probably want to check out the product-the service being offered, here it is the place for rental to host one’s wedding. I would perhaps consider renting the place, if the advertisement included more information on what was unique about the place. This place advertisement is similar to a lot of other advertisements and hence there is no advertising of a competitive advantage. For a person to choose one product or service over another, there has to be some form of competitive advantage being offered which makes the person choose it. Here the competitive advantage of the place being offered up for rental is not highlighted well. It could be a discount that it offers, or more area or extra services. If I was to remake the advertisement I would add that competitive advantage here on the advertisement.
