Annual reports in its exact size have its own share of controversies both in terms of the company as well as on an individual. An ideal report should be one which should be in conformity with the legal procedures (Hopkins & Gross 2009). The ideal length of a report should be in the region of 100 to 150 pages. It should include detailed and concise company information to boost the confidence of the investors and decrease the cost of capital. It can be ascertained that the length of the annual reports does present problem for both the entities involved. A common occurrence is that the cash flows are not in consistent with the historical practice.
