Four dimensions of Culture proposed by Hofstede:
- Power Distance: This is the level of acceptance by the society of the unequal distribution of the power in institutions and organizations.
- Uncertainty Avoidance: This refers to the extent to which people in society feel threatened by ambiguous situations. The people try to avoid them by making the perfect structure.
- Collectivism vs Individualism: This refers to the culture where it relies on the self or group of the people. This dimension describes about the social and economic development of that culture.
- Femininity vs Masculinity: This refers to the culture which values the behaviors, achievement or wealth, social sports and the quality of life.
