The concept of division of labour was developed, when the societies were starting to get growth and the process of industrialization was run effectively. The main reason behind this concept was the use of technology with human efforts. The needs of specialization and growth in the demand of people and increasing needs of production were also some other factors that gave the place to the division of labour.
Division of labour is good for the societies. According to Marx, the division among the workers may facilitate the organizations to ensure the right use of skills to produce the right product, which may help in earning more. It is an effective method in the modern industrialization because it replaces the organizational error in production, which facilitates the organizations to produce products without any defect or damage . It also gives the place to each type of people who have skilled or who have not and it does not allow the people of one group to acquire the job of others.
Above discussion also explained about the efficiency and effectiveness of the older theories of the division of labour, which is still useful to understand contemporary social structures of processes, because the theories do not only focus on the human factors but also explain about their social needs and possible consequences.
