The author gives clear indication regarding the discussion of many types of human impacts. Throughout the book, it is a variety of previous research. The book was first published in 1981, but it is still useful for massive information and impact what have happened at present, and must be predicted in the future. Meanwhile, it is encouraging for the researchers and students to collect and update more new and hodiernal knowledge and research by themselves. This can improve their ability to study independently.
This is great for researcher in much human, environment interaction in classes. The content is the introduction for the development of human attitude towards nature, and the book covers vegetation, animals, soil, water, geomorphology, climate and people. This is the task of HASS (year 4) that is focused on the environments, place, and people’s interactions over space and time and these interactions’ effects (Australian curriculum, 2015).
On the other hand, from the multidimensional knowledge, teacher can make different lesson plan for the unit or single class. Such as one lesson about behaviour of human impart vegetation, one lesson focus on environment and water, animal, one lesson can explain the human being between ecosystem and economic… So the book illuminates a great of idea and models to create more effective lesson and learning. Students should abstract more information what they need to know.
