There have been arguments that a woman can do everything as good as a man can do. However the differences in the physical nature of the two genders makes it quite obvious that there would be a certain difference in the speed, strength, stamina and endurance level between men and women. On the battlefield these traits are extremely important and women cannot overcome the natural deficiencies. However in the modern-day wars, a few argue that these characteristics are not of that much of importance and they can be trained which could make them as strong and fit as men are. Feminists claim that it is their basic right to fight for whatever they want and it is their right to choose their profession and if they are kept away from joining such forces then it is a discrimination against them.
In a war, one of the most critical decisions involves the control over nerves and emotions. In such situations each soldier has to deal with his fears in a variety of ways. It is not even easy to stab into enemy’s chest. It requires courage and motivation. Women by nature are over emotional. No one would argue that they are more emotional than men are; emotions are not good for war. Women in general take more decisions on emotions rather than logic. In such high pressure situation emotional decisions could lead to harmful consequences and it is advised in the military manual that there should be no emotions involved at the time of war. Soldiers have to live away from their families for months and it is extremely hard to manage such a gap from the family. It is hard to imagine that women would be able to make their hearts so strong which can enable them to stay away from their homes and families for such a long period of time.
