  4.1. Method

  Case Study:

  A case study method is used here. The case study selected for analyses is the F & Z Pty. Ltd. Organic fresh fruit marketing and impact on consumers are analyzed here.

  Research methodology:

  A qualitative research methodology is used here. The qualitative research methodology aims to understand data from a more holistic and exploratory view point. Research participants selected for the research are from different consumer segments, a random sample. The reason for selecting qualitative research methodology is that the research question being studied has multiple variables for analysis. Consumer preference for food safety, consumer awareness, consumer preferences for organic foods and more are studied. In order to study multiple variables, using a quantitative methodology would be more numeric in nature and it would be impossible to study these variables and their connections. Using the qualitative methodology would also provide a more exploratory stance to understand newer viewpoints, too.

  4.2. Data Collection-Primary Data Collection

  Primary data collection is done here. In primary data collection, data is collected directly from the participants. Primary data collection is more current, and is reliable as the researcher collects data from the participants directly. For this research, data is collected directly from consumers who make a choice on buying organic market produce.

  Interview Method:

  Data is collected from them through qualitative research methods such as the interview method. The qualitative method aims to understand a phenomenon from aspects such as how the phenomenon occurs, and when it occurs, etc. The first 10 participants are selected for the interview. A semi-structured interview method is selected here. Consumers will be asked to talk about their opinions on food safety issues, awareness, the form of social media impact that has created their awareness and the form of marketing they would appreciate better from the food industry.

  Sampling:

  A random sampling method will be used here. The sample selected will hence remain non-biased and the instructor would be able to retain objectivity in research.
