The usage of internet and online communities is likely to grow, all across the globe, tremendously in the upcoming years. With increasing usage of online communities and social networking websites, all across the globe, the concept of virtual world is becoming more and more popular. Challenges help a man to discover things that he never knew before. This research work helped me get a complete understanding of financial management from a practical perspective despite the challenges involved in conducting the same. The task of completing this research was challenging, however, the knowledge gained on completion, was worth the obstacles encountered. The greatest difficulty I had was to collect information on present trends in virtual world. Since the data was specific to virtual world alone, there were not much sources I could look for. I referred several websites, books as well as online communities for gathering the data. The next challenge was with checking with the consistency, accuracy and reliability of the collected data. I verified for the accuracy of the data by comparing several sources and arrived at a conclusion. The final challenge was about consolidation of the data. Since there were huge amounts of data consolidating them and presenting them in the form of an essay was quite difficult. However, I managed to put the maximum numbers of facts and figures about the needs, benefits and demerits of virtual world. Amidst several challenges, I have put my fullest effort and knowledge in preparing this report and managed to make the report helpful not only for the readers but also for the future researchers.
