Being an engineer, itself, is a great achievement. To become an engineer, it takes a long time and requires great deal of efforts and hard work. The successful engineers are those, who are always looking for new horizons of creation and crafting. However, to become a successful engineering professional in life, one needs a quality education and academic environment, where, practical skills and knowledge is polished with the help of theoretical counseling of the students. I must admit that Purdue Education is one of the best academic institutions for gifting excellent professionals to the society and to the business industries. The reason behind the success of Purdue Education is its highly qualified faculty, the pure academic environment, the curriculum designed for the students, and personal attention to each student in order to achieve the aims and objectives of each course. These are few of the things that make Purdue Education apart from others, and that is the only reason why I opted for Purdue Education as a guide to my career path. Today, when I am at the end of my highly successful career, I admit that Purdue Education was the one that made it possible for me to become a highly successful engineer.
In this paper, I will present a conversation between two successful engineers, one is Tom – a successful civil engineer in a well known company in Paris, and the other one is Jack – another successful civil engineer in Dubai. I will present some of the observations that I noticed in the conversation between these two professional engineers, in order to depict the role and importance of academic institution to make a successful professional.
