Jammers are the transmitters, which are specifically designed to disrupt cellular and other mobile devices. When it is used, it for the time being disables the cellular activity between the device and base-station. It creates a “Dead Zone” to all cell-phone-traffic temporarily. It is originally developed for the law-enforcement and the military. Moreover, the security agencies such as RAW, ISI, etc. use jammer for the purpose of protection of government ministry. There are more constructive solutions than extreme measures like mandatory jammers.
At first, the technology has to be used to the problem, which is created by the technology. Most new communication systems and computing devices have been increasing the hands-free features to save the system. The driver education is much needed for the solution of the technology problem caused by the jammers. The people need to increase and step up these efforts more and more.
Subspace projection techniques are adapted from the anti-jamming FM receivers. These techniques are based on the estimated intermediate signal of the GPS receivers . The IF information is used to construct the FM interference subspace because of signal non-stationarity. Due to the characteristic of GPS spread spectrum signal structure, the S/N ratio of the receivers become different in typical systems. The theoretical and simulation outcomes suggest that the subspace projection techniques can excise the GPS jammers for GPS receivers.
