Marketing Management is a part of the field of Business Administration which includes Sales Management, Social Networks and Marketing Communication, Psychological theories of marketing, Empirical Research Methods / Applied empirical research methods, E-Business and Media Management. Interdisciplinary takes place especially in combination with (sub-disciplines from) psychology, media studies, and mathematics.
The marketing mix is considered the easiest and most effective combination of “tools” or “instruments” for the practical implementation of marketing plans in companies or nonprofit organizations. These facts explain the great popularity of the marketing mix theory and practice. In 1964, Neil Borden suggested twelve instruments. This has then Jerome McCarthy grouped into four groups, the famous four Ps. They are:
• Product (Product Policy)
• Price (pricing policy)
• Promotion (communication policy)
• Place (distribution and marketing policies)
Three new instruments have been included in the 4Ps which makes 7Ps. They are:
• Processes (product)
• People (product)
• Physical evidence (promotion)
Research methodology
There will be two research carried out by the researcher of the study. They are primary research and secondary research.
i. Primary Research
Primary research will be based on the data gathered using survey questionnaires and face to face interviews with the customers who like to shop at Primark. The total number of participants for the survey has been fixed to 100 and the total number of people with whom the interview will be conducted is 20. The survey will be conducted outside of the stores and the questionnaire will be handed over to them in printed format and the options will be clearly mentioned on it.
