This paper mainly talks about the economical and political influence of seclusion policy in ancient China. In Qing Dynasty, the government carried out the seclusion policy that in turn produced feudal economy. Of course, because of the policy, China cannot bring in the advanced culture and scientific technology in the world and it impedes the development of Chinese economy and seafaring. The policy is carried out for a long time and gradually results in the country’s blocking. Therefore, the development of Chinese society is standstill for a long time. Under the circumstance of western capitalism’s booming, China drops behind the world.
With the development of technology and science, globalization becomes an inexorable trend all over the world. It has brought plenty of advantages for many countries. The government closed the country to international intercourse and refused to make progress, which severely hinders their connection with the world.
