The concerns of growing energy demands have made people seek alternative forms of energy which are renewable. Solar energy and the related infrastructural implementations are seen to be a good alternative for fossil fuels. However, this energy system has been fraught with issues too, especially in the technology of cells that are used.  The Perovskite cells is being researched extensively because of how it can be made use for efficient solar energy harnessing. The cells themselves also produce lesser carbon gas compared to existing solar cell implementations. Despite this commercially advantageous position, the Perovskite cells are not used widely because of stability issues, and this work proposes to find a solution for stability concerns.

Research studies on the structure and the working functionalities of these cells identify that the perovskite is seen to be made of a hybrid organic compound which also acts as a very light and active layer. The materials itself involved in the making of the cell are cheaper to produce compared to other conventional cells.
