When in doubt of breaching moral or ethical codes then talk to your supervisor. When in doubt of the whole system being ethically unfit, seek help, even if it means having to whistle blow on the system. This is my person belief. In this section I will take a standpoint away from my belief’s to doubt what Peter Ludlow writes. Ludlow uses examples of bureaucratic evil to represent evil within the surveillance state. This is not a comparison that I agree with. A corporate structuring and a country surveillance state need not be the same. For ages nations have believed in counter-intelligence, breaking and bending ethical rules to protect citizens so I do not believe that all unethical actions here can be generalized or compared to a corporate structuring. These inherent evil may also involve doing what is their proper role, when it can in fact hurt someone. However these systemic evils may be necessary in running a Government, in international policies and more. In a survival of state some amount of systemic evil has to be accepted. Only with a system comes trust and security. The system maybe needs changes but it has to be done slowly, we have policy making and other techniques for this. Whistle-blowing is like ripping of a band aid; it can leave a scar or expose a cure.
