The movie touches various issues such as corruption, neglecting parents, false beliefs etc. The movie is build around characters that are full of human kindness and these characters touch the hearts of common people. The character of Munna Bhai stays true to its values till the very end. The combination of Munna and Gandhi is unique as Munna has a completely different philosophy from Gandhi. But Gandhi’s philosophy of peace wins over everyone and shows the world that there is still a place for humanity and honesty in the modern world. Lage Raho Munna Bhai has been able to generate great profits and win many accolades because of the director’s deep understanding of the society.
