Deloitte University conducted a survey Global Human Capital Trends which showed leadership as one of the 12 most issues concerning organizations. Such trends suggest the relative importance which leadership plays in creating the right kind of processes and environment for having smooth success of an organization. As organizations increasingly expand their footprints in the global arena, the need for leadership is becoming an important aspect for the management of the business decisions. The study by Deloitte University highlights the fact that leadership ranks as one of the most critical aspect in the operational and strategies management of firm of all sizes. Around 86% of the respondents participating in the survey considered that talent at the leadership level was top most factor afflicting their operations .
Considering the need of organizations to move fast to take benefits of emerging opportunities and firefighting deepening challenges, leadership has become extremely important for the survival of the organization.
