Just like every other individual living on this earth, I have also gone through various difficult situations in my life. However, every time when I was up with a troublesome situation I did not let that situation interfere with my ability to find a feasible solution for that challenge which I was facing. The basic requirement of the challenge was to figure out who I was as a person and what do I want to do with my life. It was at that time when I realized that I am most passionate about involving myself in the volunteer services, especially the ones which involve helping the poor and children. I believe that what the opportunities which the society has given me, I should channelize them in helping those who doesn’t have access to those opportunities. Together with the personal development, I look forward towards the development of the society as a whole and thus I want to contribute to the society through volunteer services in the best way possible.With this aim in my mind, I commenced working as a volunteer at a non-government organization whose basic agenda was to feed the poor and hungry people. I involved myself in various activities in the NGOs which were preparation of food, collection of raw vegetables, serving the food to people. The expressions which I could see on the face of people after they had their food were a driving force for me to take up other volunteer activities too. I also engaged myself in teaching the children who had a poor economic background and as a result were unable to afford quality education and personal tuition. I started to take personal tuition for these children in my neighborhood for no cost. I am of the opinion that for the society to develop as a whole it is very essential that all the children are imparted with a good education. It is only education which could help the people develop and rise above the poverty level. I believe, I will continue to work with these types of organizations in future too so as to contribute to the society for the opportunities it has rendered me.
