A majority of British citizens voted to leave EU amidst concerns over excessive migration. In summer of 2015, Angela Merkel, German Chancellor threw open Germany as well as the entire Europe to more than 1.1 million Middle Eastern and North African migrants. The prices of property and goods were rising due to richer immigrants who could bid higher than the native British. EU failed to address the economic issues developing in Europe namely, rising unemployment around 20% in Southern Europe . There has been a growing distrust of multinational organizations such as The EU, The IMF and The Nato. Many supporters of Brexit believe that these institutions do not serve their purpose anymore. Although the EU leaders believe that aiding the refugees is a moral obligation, it has been affecting internal life within the country as mentioned above. The EU deprives the individual nations of the power to take their own decisions.
