In this movie, the person who is playing the role of Theodore was a writer at a website beautifulhandwrittenletters.com. He was suffering from her failure relationship with his wife Catherine. He usually interacted with his neighbour AMY and her husband Charles due to professional relationship. After some time, he bought an operating system which initially acted like a personal assistant to him. That operation system provides him the details of the activity which he usually does in his life on regular basis. However, with the time, the relationship of the personal assistant changed into an intimacy relationship. The operating called itself by the name of Samantha. Samantha used to help the character of the movies in handling every difficult situation of his life, which made him feel that with the help of Samantha “he can do anything in this world”. This thought of Theodore made him think about her because he thought that the things which he shared with the operating system were completely personal. Later on, he found that the operating system was designed in such a manner that it transformed with the experiences of people who interact with it.
