This report aims towards the analysis for the chief executive of the UK based phone manufacturing company ‘CommuniCo’ about the improvement of the teamwork so that overall corporate performance can be improved. This task was given to a graduate trainee working in that company. For this advice paper the graduate trainee chose the two research paper as one of them was ‘Bewitched, bothered and bewildered: The meaning and experience of team working for employees in an automobile company’ by David Knights and Darren McCabe and another paperwas‘A longitudinal study of the influence of shop floor work teams on expressions of ‘us’ and ‘them’ by Christine Coupland, Paul Blyton and Nicholas Bacon.(Kellogg Company et al, 2009)
These two papers are chosen for the advice as evidence to show the Chief Executives to the mobile manufacturing company to help in improvement of the team work. The main reason for selection is that in these papers the information about the team work and its effect on the organization has been explained with the help of the obtained results and surveys done among the employees. Also it can be seen that employee’s point of view can be judged before work and after work in that organization. The graduate trainee’s work will identify the different mode of activities that has been done in the organization and how those can be improved so that final corporate performance. (Anderson et al, 2000)
The paper shows that how the attitude of the employee in the organization changes time to time because of the organization’s wrong policies. The suggestion for the Chief executive of the company has been explained in this paper based on the two research paper.It is very important to managing the people and developing the human resources policies for welfare of the human as well as outside societies. This report is helpful for understanding the human nature and their reactions towards the firm. The objective of the report is to convince the chief executive officer of the firm that there must be some policies to help the people of the firm in understanding the culture and the environment with competitive facilities.
For this study the graduate trainee prepare the questionnaire and did the surveys in the firm and asked about what they feel in this firm, are they satisfied or not etc. and also concluded with the two studies done for the same kind of literature. (Bakan, N. et al, 2004)
