It was stylish, it had good quality and most importantly the clothes at Next clothing had value for money. Later on in 1984 the company launched men wear. And in the next year that is in 1985 it launched home decor and interiors. And in 1987 Next Company entered into the business of children wears. By 1987 one could have said that Next Company has become a full life style brand, which influenced the life of people.
The launch of Next directory was a new revolution in the home shopping area. In 1999 Next Plc. introduced its online version of Next directory. This introduction of Next directory in 1999 enabled its customers to shop with Next Plc. with three distinct alternatives. Firstly, by visiting the store directly, secondly through the internet online and finally through phone call.

In 2001, 2005 and in 2007 Next Plc. entered into the business of flowers, gift sector and later Next Company entered into home ware. And recently in the year 2010 Next limited has introduced its sport brand named NX Sports.
In 2008 Next Plc. acquired Lipsy a well known young ladies brand. Next company has been assigned as the official clothing company for the Olympic which are to be held. It will also provide bead linens for the athlete’s village.
