Today, focus of the healthcare and nursing has been centred to patient care. Krugman (2003) has stated that valuing patients and their preferences have become the core perspective of evidence based practice including rigorous clinical trials. Patient satisfaction surveys have gained an important role that incorporate EBP into unit practice. It is considered as a feedback to find out satisfaction level of patients and included by many institutions as part of the discharge process. He also emphasized that in order to integrate best practice evidence and supportive practice, healthcare institutions must create an environment where evidence based practice would become a part of the language.
