Along with the Chinese economic has rapidly increased in recent year,more and more Chinese parents are willing to pay more tuition to let their kids go aboard for study as International students. They want their kids to get university degrees are from developed countries. They think their kids can receive better education. The first choose for Chinese parents are the US.The reasons why the Chinese parents would like to let their kid go America for study that because of higher education system, different race of people andplenty of differences cultures. However, it is really far away from home, it is almost like 15-20 flight faraway, but the number of the Chinese students who are go abroad for study is still increase. Now, as one of growing number of Chinese student, I am studying at Ball state university, this is my junior yearin this university, as my experience, and also according to the inter-views from two of my friends named Qian Ye and Yinhan Li that I summarized the different between college student in China and America, such as life style, social life.
Right now, Qian Ye as a freshman at Hangzhou DianziUniveristy.This university is located at a beautiful city, whichis called Hangzhou. He is majoring in Computer science. Before he starts this major, he does not know what’s this major for. But he does notcare about the major;he just cares about which university he can enroll for. Actually, this is the normal thing in China. When he got an offer from this university, he was extremely excited; he thought he can enjoying the relaxing life for almost four years that is actually what almostChinesehigh students’ minds. In China, almost high school students feel stress when they are in high schools, that because they have to study from six o’clock in the morning to eleven o’clock at night, maybe more. At that period time the only goals for Chinese high school students are enroll in good university. All the students want to go to good universities; the students are from higher quality universities always can find better job than the lower quality universities except some students have really good background.
